Kilby News 6.12.2020

Thank you for being our partners in Education and for your support during this unprecedented time! Reading is the most important thing our students can do to continue their learning over the summer! We can’t wait to see you in the Fall! The first day of school is August 25!

Kilby Laptops and Kindles

Students are able to continue to use Kilby laptops and Kindles over the summer.  We are hoping all Kilby students register for virtual summer school!  If you are moving, please email Marge Via, VIAMR@PWCS.EDU, and we will set up a time for you to return the device before you go!

Report Cards and Parent Vue

Teachers will be emailing final report cards today Friday, June 12th. Report Cards will be available in ParentVue starting June 22nd. Please note there are no grades in 4th quarter because new learning and grading stopped March 13th which was 3rd quarter. Students’ grades from 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter were averaged to get the final grade.

Summer Enrichment Canvas Course

Kilby teachers and staff will be offering an optional enrichment course in Canvas this summer (FREE). Canvas is a new learning platform that will be used in the fall across Prince William County Schools. This optional course will be a time for interested students and parents to learn about Canvas and have access to NearPods, Virtual Field Trips and other learning opportunities. If you are interested please fill out this form to sign up.

You will need to fill out Student First and Last name and grade level; all other information is optional.
