Hello second-grade families! Here is the suggested schedule for this week, March 30th to April 3rd. This schedule is only a suggestion, you know what is best for you and your student so adjust it to fit your needs. With school being closed through the end of the school year, it is important that students work on reading for at least 30 minutes each day and math for at least 30 minutes each day so they do not fall behind. Last week, we only had ONE student use IXL. Even practicing for just 15 minutes each day will make a huge difference in supporting your student. Please reach out if you need help signing in or need a new copy of your student's Clever badge. You can access Clever on any device by going to https://clever.com/in/pwcs/  I have added many excellent resources to my class web page. I highly recommend that you access these resources because they are approved by the county and align with our curriculum and standards. On my website, I have math games and manipulatives, anchor charts, and links to excellent websites to review and extend learning. Please click around and explore! Let me know what questions you have about this by emailing me at bodmerae1@pwcs.edu or on Classtag! Have a great week! Good morning! I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe! Here is a FUN and INTERACTIVE activity to help build your student's number sense. It will show some dots, a black "splat", and the total number of dots in the top corner. The students are to say how many dots are hidden under the splat (based on how many are shown and how many there are in all). There is a video to show how you play. There are questions you can ask your student as well! Let me know if you have further questions! SPLAT!- https://stevewyborney.com/2017/02/splat/ Ms. Bodmer
