History

Kilby Elementary School opened in 1959. In 1971, the school was renamed in honor of its first principal, R. Dean Kilby, who served from 1959 to 1971. In February 2017, a new school building opened on the same site, continuing the school's longstanding tradition of serving the Woodbridge community.
